Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals.  OK, every week is a little bit of a stretch, but after a month away Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) finally get back to business.  The guys talk about some takeaways from the Chaim Bloom press conference, how exciting and interesting the 2025 playoffs were, and what they'd like to see from Bloom as the offseason trade and free agent market opens.  Good to be back, come give it a listen!

GTBH 9/28/25: No Mo' Mo, Bloom Gets To Bloom

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals.  The 2025 season has come to a close and Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) are here to mark the occasion.  Was intentionally walking Michael Busch on Saturday a good thing or a troll job?  Should the closing lineup have been a little more robust?  And the less said about Miles Mikolas the better.  The guys also talk about the upcoming press conferences by John Mozeliak and Chaim Bloom plus the fates of the no-trade-clause guys.  A rough season but, hey, we aren't Mets fans!

GTBH 9/21/25: The Home Curtain Comes Down

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals.  We've seen the last of the Cardinals at Busch Stadium for 2025 and while there are still some more games, there was a lot of finality this weekend.  Miles Mikolas made his last start on the home mound, John Mozeliak watched his last games from the POBO suite, and Nolan Arenado walked off to a huge ovation without even playing.  Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) talk about some of the endings and some of the beginnings, starting with Chaim Bloom and what he might do this winter.  How can Cardinal fans stay engaged when a rebuild is coming?  Let's find out together.

GTBH 9/14/25: Well, It Wasn't a Total Loss

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals.  It was a very rough week for the Redbirds (well, not the Springfield ones) and Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) aren't terribly inclined to talk about it.  They do give some kudos to Miles Mikolas (of all people) while talking about the pitching problems next year may have.  Are we expecting too much from Chaim Bloom or will this actually be a busy offseason?  Plus Masyn Winn gets shut down, finally.  All that and more on this week's outing!

GTBH 8/24/25: The Dog Days of the Season

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals.  A mediocre week for the Cardinals as they made their Florida tour, but "mediocre" seems to be the word of the season so it's not a big surprise.  Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) wonder about Masyn Winn's knee, how the two factions in the front office are working together, and the frustration of watching this team.  We'll miss them when they are gone but they'll drive us crazy until then!

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals.  The trading deadline has come and gone and neither Daniel (@C70) or David (@iPopEditor) was all that enthused about it.  It was fine, but will any of the returns make it to the majors?  What about the roster and the clogs of bats that are there?  Will we see Nolan Arenado again?  Who will be the September callups?  It's a hodgepodge of a show but it might be more entertaining than the current Cardinals game, depending on when you listen.
