GTBH 6/20/21: She's Back!

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals.  After a long absence due to other priorities, Tara (Birds on the Black, @tarawellman) returns to talk about the Cardinals with Daniel (C70 At The Bat, @C70).  Not that there's a lot of great things to talk about.  Trying to find which flaw to talk about is a chore in and of itself, but the two talk about the struggling offense as well as the shaky pitching staff.  It may not be overly optimistic, but hey, at least Tara's back!

GTBH 4/18/21: Inconsistency, Thy Name Is Cardinals

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals.  It was a losing week of baseball for the Redbirds and Daniel (C70 At The Bat, @C70) and Tara (Birds on the Black, @tarawellman) are a bit worn out from the steep ups and crazy downs this season has brought on so far.  Is the fact that the Cards have a lot of people "hitting the ball hard" a sign of things to come or a palliative that doesn't address the real issue?  Can any of these starters actually find the sixth inning?  Will it all come together soon?  No answers, but plenty of questions!

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals.  The Cardinals are undefeated....if you don't count those pesky weekend games.  Daniel (C70 At The Bat, @C70) and Tara (Birds on the Black, @tarawellman) talk about the ups and downs of the past week and tackle some of the problems the club has.  How long is Daniel Ponce de Leon going to stay in the rotation?  Did Johan Oviedo push his way in with Sunday's performance?  How confident are these two in the bullpen?  Don't worry, the offense comes in for its share of criticism as well, but they end on a high note talking about that new third baseman.  It's not all bad!

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals.  Spring training is winding to a close, but that doesn't mean all the questions have been answered.  Daniel (C70 At The Bat, @C70) and Tara (Birds on the Black, @tarawellman) talk about their concerns about the pitching rotation, now that it's official that John Gant and Daniel Ponce de Leon are going to be at the back end of it.  There's also talk about the final roster decisions, with players like Jake Woodford and Edmundo Sosa in and Kodi Whitley and Jose Rondon out.  And how much of the lack of power this spring is due to Florida and how much due to the players?  Get ready for Opening Day with these two!
