Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals.  OK, so it's occasionally every three months.  Daniel (C70 At The Bat, @C70) and Tara (Birds on the Black, @tarawellman) dust off the microphones and get to talking about the little baseball news that there is.  Of course, most of that is the lockout and the two spend some time talking about how that's going, when it will end, etc.  They wrap it up with the big news of the day, though, which was, of course, canine-related!

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals.  From a game out last week to three games up this week, the Cardinals have had a wonderful week for their postseason aspirations.  Daniel (C70 At The Bat, @C70) and Tara (Birds on the Black, @tarawellman) talk about the excitement and energy around the team now that they've had back-to-back sweeps against two other teams vying for that same second wild card spot.  Tyler O'Neill hit two dramatic bombs this week--how great has he been this year and what does that mean for his future with the Cards?  The bullpen has been bending if not breaking.  Is usage catching up to players like T.J. Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals.  The Cardinals treated the Brewers and the Pirates the same this week, which was not a good thing as the Redbirds dropped both series and looked very comparable to the competition, both good and bad.  Daniel (C70 At The Bat, @C70) and Tara (Birds on the Black, @tarawellman) talk about the good first though, spending time being amazed by what Adam Wainwright is doing.  However, is it a good thing a couple of approaching-40-year-olds are what captivate much of the attention?  And what about Jack Flaherty--can, will, and should the Cardinals try to lock him up this winter?  All that and more in 30 minutes (well, 35)!
