Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. It was a pretty miserable week for the Cardinals, dropping series to the Tigers and the worst team in baseball coming into this series. What's a team to do? Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) don't really have any solutions, but they definitely can point to some problems. What will it take to get some offense around here?

OK, that’s fair. But how much has Crawford held down this team? He’s got 19 at bats. Even if you bring up Sagesse, are you playing him over Gorman or Donovan? I can’t imagine they’d go that route though it’s fair to note those guys are doing well at Memphis. I don’t think it’s fair to say that they are just one player away from clicking. As for Gio, I do think they are going to have to be more judicious in how they use him. I also don’t know who they could get up that would be better. Once Middleton and O’Brien are healthy, then maybe there’s a stronger case for moving on.

You can’t fire players guys, so basically you are still saying do nothing. Preito or Sagesse cant help the team over Crawford? Gio can’t be replaced? C’mon
