Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cards came out of the trade deadline gate firing on most cylinders, winning series against the Yankees and the Rockies. Is that enough to get the playoffs hopes firing again? Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) debate that topic and if they are willing to get hurt again. The guys also talk about Alec Burleson's role in the Cardinals future, wondering if he's a core player. They are pretty sure Matthew Liberatore is not one, but what does the future hold for him? Then they gush on the minors a bit and deal with a hard question. Come join us!

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. While the Cards are playing the Yankees (but before the big offensive explosion), Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) get together to ignore all that and focus on the chaos that was the MLB trade deadline. Some players didn't get moved (Ryne Stanek, which caused angst before the show was done, and any catcher) but otherwise the departures were as expected. The returns were incredible, though, as Chaim Bloom continues to show that he not only has an amazing eye for talent but he's able to do what it takes to acquire it. Where do the new guys rank and how will they fit in? The guys tackle that as best they can as they salute those that left and get excited about the new. Way to go, Chaim!

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. With David (@iPopEditor) out of pocket, Daniel (@C70) brings in Kyle Reis (@kyler416) of prospect fame with the express verbal intent of NOT rehashing the draft or the minor leagues. How well did that work? The guys talk over the recent struggles of the Cardinals and where the energy has gone with this team. There's also discussions of Jimmy Crooks, Kyle Leahy, and Matt Svanson as well as the upcoming trade deadline. Then they go down a side road and touch on the Marvel news coming out of Comic-Con and Star Wars in general. Come give it a listen!

This week, Daniel (@C70) and David (@iPopEditor) put the most recent Cardinals meltdown aside to get some expert insight on the draft from Baseball America writer Carlos Collazo (@CarlosACollazo). The guys ask Carlos questions not only about what he liked about the St. Louis draft but how BA goes about putting together their boards. We're talking Trevor Condon, Tegan Kuhns, and more, including how the draft has changed over the past few years and what the new CBA proposals might do to it in the future.

Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. The club made some moves this week but none were bigger than the promotion of Blaze Jordan at the expense of Nolan Gorman. The guys also get into the tough loss in Minnesota on Friday night, trying to make sense of a lot of different aspects. What's the future of this Kyle Leahy experience? Why did Ryne Stanek melt down? Every week, two of the Best Fans in Baseball (TM) bring you all the news and analysis you need about the St. Louis Cardinals. With a little help from the Reds, the Cards finished off one of their rare sweeps this season, moving back to seven games above .500. David (@iPopEditor) was blacked out from most of it but that doesn't stop him and Daniel (@C70) from talking about the excitement of the team. What all will Lars Nootbaar bring to this team? Can they keep this going against the next part of the schedule which has some soft spots? The guys also talk about Oli Marmol's selection to the All-Star Game coaching staff as well as many other things. Come join us!
